Child-friendly bungalow for nature lovers, with a fantastic distant view
The bungalow is on the edge of the old town, a five-minute walk from the centre, but still alone on the slope.
It has a dining room, a living room (fireplace room with plenty of firewood), a built-in kitchen, a parents’ bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200cm), a smaller bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200cm) and a little bedroom with a single bed (90 x200cm) and space for a cot. You can spend a romantic evening by the open fire with a view of the lit-up windows of town and the illuminated medieval buildings.
There is a car parking space on the slope, with a path and steps to the bungalow. There is a garden with a fenced lawn and two sheep. The well-tended and partly ecological garden has a pool, with a fantastic view and lighting on the paths. There is a 3.5-metre trampoline with a net.
Please note that the bungalow is accessible from the nearby parking area via a footpath and stairs
reach. Internet is available shortly (for a fee). However, it is also possible to use the publicly accessible internet of the Verbandsgemeinde Linz (in front of the building only 100 m away) free of charge. Washing machine (free) is available in the bungalow. As far as parental controls are required, these are provided as e.g. in infants an additional pond protection.
It is a three-minute walk to the Rheinhöhen hiking trail with a view of the Erpelerlei and the “Brückje von Remagen”. The romantic old town has a castle square and town gates. In May you can attend ‘Rhein in Flammen’ and in August an internationally famous flea market etc. It is worth mentioning the occasionally coloured illumination of the churches, chapel and other buildings after dark, as well as the neverending ship traffic. The view of the old town and the Rhine with the Linz/Kripp ferry is complemented by the proximity to the Rheintherme Bad Hönnigen, which invites you to pay a visit, along with the Bad Neuenahr casino with the Kurpark. The pure forest and meadow surroundings (Westerwald Niederbreitbach) with the Hausen swimming pool and Burg Ockenfels 10 minutes away are impressive for nature lovers. For hikers, there is the Rheinhöhenweg circuit nearby. It is easy to get to Burg Ockenfels.
