This cosy log cabin, set on the island of Blidö, is perfect for those who want to spend their holiday enjoying the beauty of the archipelago of the east coast. The two-storey house is set on a large, elevated plot, only 300 metres from the waterside, and features a sauna.

The bottom floor features a living room and a mezzanine with a single bed. There's also a washing machine, a shower, and a wood-fuelled sauna on the bottom floor.

On the upper floor, you will find a second living room and a kitchen, which is open plan. The bedroom features a double bed and the bathroom features a washbasin and an electric incinerating toilet.

The cabin features a large, furnished terrace and a garden grill. A rowing boat is included in the rent, you will find it by the shared dock.

The archipelago of Roslagen is famous for it's beauty and a popular summer destination. This holiday home is set on the island of Blidö. The island has a grocery store and good ferry connections from Furusund to Stockholm and other places. For more information on the ferries, visit the website of Waxholmsbolaget.

Roslagen offers all sorts of events and activities, one example is the boat race Roslagsloppet and the festival Roslagsfestivalen. In July you can enjoy the American Car Show. Or visit Norrtälje where you will find the science museum Pythagoras. Norrtälje also arranges the event Norrtälje Jazzdagar, a jazz event that usually takes place after midsummer. Why not make a day trip to Åland or try your hand at kayaking? Or explore the caves of Gillberga gryt outside of Hallstavik!

The distance to Stockholm is around 80-90 kilometres, depending on which route you take.

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Besonders ansprechend ist auch die Terrasse, die in den Wald übergeht und verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten bietet.
    Allerdings ist die elektronische Toilette gewöhnungsbedürftig, die Lüftung zur Abkühlung der Toilette dauert sehr lange (ca. 2 Stunden).
    Die Ostsee ist nicht in Sichtnähe, aber nah, ca 300 m und es gibt schöne Bademöglichkeiten.”
