Discover this beautiful holiday home with private pool, 40 minutes from Canet-en-Roussillon and Barcarès, nestled on the edge of the pretty village of Marquixanes in the Pyrenees. Very modern, with large glazed walls, the large, very warm loft-style interior offers a lot of comfort and the garden by the pool will bring you many relaxing days. This very sunny region is full of exciting places to explore with family or friends, such as the 5 km long Lac des Escomes, where the Aquagliss Park is located, a fun and sporty place with inflatable water games, catapult, trampoline and slides. The famous Pic du Canigou (14 km), which attracts thousands of hikers of all levels every year and where everyone can walk at their own pace, gently or in the high mountains or in the Gorges de la Fou. Don't miss the village of Arles-sur-Tech, built in a circle around the abbey and a unique example of Languedoc Gothic art in Catalonia. It is a magnificent region that seems to have been made for holidays: sports enthusiasts of all ages will be delighted by the many activities on offer in the area: canyoning, hiking, mountain biking, electric mountain biking, horse riding trails, paragliding, climbing, trekking... or just a walk in the forest! At the end of the day, you can recharge your batteries in one of the delicious restaurants or country bistros where you can sample local specialities such as Catalan cold cuts and mushrooms, all i oli, La Cargolade, Catalan cream and fideuada. Round it off with a small glass of Banyuls or Corbières.
