The small fortified village of Castellar de la Frontera is located in southern Andalusia. Considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, it is within a castle surrounded by the walls of a well preserved Moorish-Christian fortress built around the 13th century. The white-washed buildings within the walls have been renovated, in full respect of the original architecture, colours and materials, and some holiday apartments, all with their own independent entrance, have been acquired.
This typical Andalusian village, within a unique location, is set on a rocky spur in the heart of the Los Alcornocales Natural Park and enjoys wide-sweeping views of its surroundings: from the Guadarranque Reservoir to the magnificent cork oak groves of the park, up to the imposing Rock of Gibraltar and the North African coast. A breathtaking and magical place ideal for a relaxing holiday, but also a perfect position for sport lovers wanting to go trekking, cycling, horseback riding and quad biking. The castle walls offer an oasis of tranquillity, within which one can breathe history whilst walking the romantic stone alleys, adorned with flower pots and craft shops.
At our hotel, situated within the Palace of the Counts, there is a restaurant (which can deliver directly to your accommodation), a bar, Wi-Fi internet area, laundry service and access to the terraces, from which one can enjoy spectacular views of the village and the surroundings.
Outside the walls there are some public parking lots.

On the ground floor a living room with kitchenette (2 burners, fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker) and dining area. On the first floor a double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms next each other, and a bathroom with bathtub fitted with shower head.
