Traditional, typical Mallorquin holiday home with a large patio
This property is located in a rural location in a residential neighbourhood of s'Alqueria Blanca, a town with a population of about 1000. It is a typical Mallorquin house and - according to folklore - was built by the first inhabitant of the town in 1500. It was fully renovated in 2014, but the Mallorquin style was retained.
The large patio is furnished with outdoor furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue and grants views over the surrounding area. The 1500 m² property is planted with orange and fig trees. The property borders a field to one side and a quiet road on the other.
The 200 m² holiday house spreads over two floors, connected by a staircase. On the ground floor, you will find ta bright entrance area leading into the living room furnished with two sofas and a television with satellite reception and DVB-T. The kitchen, which is now used as a lounge, is furnished with a stove, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a coffee maker. It also boasts a large wooden table and chairs. Additionally, there is a guest toilet and shower on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find the three spacious bedrooms, each furnished with two single beds (0.90 m x 1.90 m), which can be combined to a double bed. Two of the bedrooms have built in closets and share a bathroom with a shower, a bathtub, a sink and a toilet. The third bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, as well as a dressing room and access to the balcony. Additionally, there is a small living room on the top floor. Wireless internet access is available. Please note that due to its rural location, the internet connection speed is not as fast as it would be in an urban setting.
The neighbourhood is ideal for walks and visiting cafes and restaurants (about 100 meters from the property) in town. Within a few kilometres, there are two beautiful sandy beaches, surrounded by pine forests. The small harbour Porto Petro (about 5 km) is also worth a visit. It is less than 4 km to the weekly market in Santanyi, where you can find a variety of local products and produce. In town you can find restaurants, bars, supermarkets and a pharmacy. It is about 9 km to a golf course and 5 km to a tennis court. The airport is about 51 km from the house.
